Here’s a soft, chewy, and cinnamon-sweet recipe for Snickerdoodle Bars—all the cozy flavor of snickerdoodle cookies, but much easier to make in one pan:

🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 cup (225 g) butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Cinnamon Sugar Topping:

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease or line a baking pan (9×13 inch).
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients to form a thick batter.
  6. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
  7. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar topping over the batter.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and set in the center.
  9. Cool, slice into bars, and enjoy!

💡 Tips

  • Don’t overbake—slightly soft in the center = chewy bars.
  • Add a cream cheese swirl for a richer version.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
