Smoked Sausage and Corn in a Slow Cooker 🌽πŸ₯˜
This is a simple, hearty meal where smoked sausage, corn, potatoes, and seasonings cook slowly together, creating a flavorful dish with very little effort.


Ingredients

  • 500–700 g smoked sausage (sliced)
  • 3–4 cups corn (frozen, canned, or corn on the cob pieces)
  • 3–4 potatoes, chopped
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Β½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley or green onions

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients
    Slice the smoked sausage and chop potatoes and onion.
  2. Add to slow cooker
    Place sausage, corn, potatoes, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker.
  3. Season
    Sprinkle paprika, pepper, and salt over the ingredients.
  4. Add liquids
    Pour in chicken broth and add butter on top.
  5. Cook
    • Low: 6–7 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
      Cook until potatoes are tender.
  6. Serve
    Stir gently and garnish with parsley or green onions if desired.
