Instructions
- Prep seafood
- Pat lobster and scallops dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Cook lobster tails
- Split lobster tails in half lengthwise.
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

- Sear scallops
- In the same skillet, add another tbsp oil if needed.
- Sear scallops 2β3 minutes per side until golden brown and opaque in the center. Remove and set aside.
- Make garlic butter sauce
- Reduce heat to medium, add butter and garlic. SautΓ© 30β60 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice, parsley, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Combine & serve
- Return lobster and scallops to the skillet and toss gently in garlic butter sauce.
- Serve immediately with extra sauce drizzled over top.
Pro Tips
- Dry seafood = perfect sear. Moist scallops or lobster will steam instead.
- Donβt overcook: Lobster and scallops cook quickly; scallops become rubbery if overdone.
- Serving ideas: Serve over garlic butter noodles, risotto, or with roasted vegetables.
- Extra indulgent: Add a splash of white wine to the garlic butter sauce for a subtle depth.
