Posted on March 2, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple and delicious guide for cooking fish fillet — light, healthy, and quick to prepare. 🐟

🐟 Pan-Seared Fish Fillet (Easy Recipe)

Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

  • 2–3 fish fillets (tilapia, cod, haddock, salmon, etc.)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Fish

  • Pat fillets dry with paper towels.
  • Season both sides with salt, pepper, and optional spices.

2️⃣ Heat Pan

  • Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.

3️⃣ Cook

  • Place fillets in the pan (skin-side down if applicable).
  • Cook 3–5 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
  • Fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork and is opaque inside.

4️⃣ Finish

  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

🔥 Oven-Baked Option

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place seasoned fillets on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake 10–15 minutes depending on thickness.

💡 Tips

  • Do not overcook — fish becomes dry quickly.
  • Add a splash of white wine or butter sauce for extra flavor.
  • Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.

If you tell me the type of fish you have (salmon, tilapia, cod, etc.), I can give you a more specific recipe tailored to that fish.
