Chicken meatballs

Chicken meatballs are tender meatballs made from ground chicken, often mixed with herbs, breadcrumbs, and spices. They’re lighter than beef meatballs but still flavorful. 🍗🍽️

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground chicken
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

How to Make

  1. Mix ingredients
    In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, herbs, salt, pepper, and Parmesan.
  2. Form meatballs
    Roll mixture into small balls (about 1–1½ inches).
  3. Cook them
    • Bake: 375°F (190°C) for 18–20 minutes
    • Pan-fry: Cook in a skillet with oil until browned and cooked through
    • Simmer in sauce: Add to tomato sauce and cook about 20 minutes

  • With spaghetti and tomato sauce
  • In a meatball sandwich

Tips

  • Add a little milk or yogurt to keep them moist.
  • Do not overmix the meat or they may become tough.
  • Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
