Caramel chocolate crunch bars are sweet layered treats featuring a crunchy base, a gooey caramel layer, and a chocolate topping—often with added nuts or cereal for extra texture. They’re like homemade candy bars, perfect for dessert or snacks.


🍫 Basic No-Bake Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars

Ingredients

Base

  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers (or digestive biscuits)
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup sugar

Caramel Layer

  • 1 cup soft caramels or thick caramel sauce
  • 2–3 tbsp heavy cream

Chocolate Topping

  • 1½ cups chocolate chips (milk or dark)
  • Optional: ½ cup extra crispy rice cereal or chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Prepare the base:
    • Mix cereal, crushed crackers, melted butter, and sugar.
    • Press firmly into a lined 8×8-inch pan. Chill for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Add caramel:
    • Melt caramels with cream.
    • Spread evenly over the chilled base and refrigerate until set.
  3. Top with chocolate:
    • Melt chocolate and stir in extra cereal or nuts if desired.
    • Spread over caramel layer.
  4. Chill & slice:
    • Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
    • Cut into bars and serve.

✨ Variations

  • Salted caramel: Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top.
  • Nutty: Add almonds, pecans, or hazelnuts to chocolate.
  • Chocolate drizzle: Add white or dark chocolate drizzle for decoration.
  • Baked version: Use a shortbread base and bake before layering caramel and chocolate.

These bars are easy to customize and make a delicious treat for holidays, parties, or an indulgent snack.
