🧾 Ingredients

Base

  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers (or digestive biscuits)
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ¼ cup sugar

Caramel Layer

  • 1 cup soft caramels (or thick caramel sauce)
  • 2–3 tbsp heavy cream

Chocolate Topping

  • 1½ cups chocolate chips (milk or dark)
  • Optional: ½ cup crispy rice cereal or chopped nuts for extra crunch

  1. Make the base:
    Mix cereal, crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press firmly into a lined 8×8-inch pan. Chill 15–20 minutes.

    Melt caramels with cream (microwave or stovetop). Spread evenly over the chilled base. Chill again until set.
  3. Top with chocolate:
    Melt chocolate. Stir in extra cereal or nuts if using. Spread over caramel layer.
  4. Chill & slice:
    Refrigerate until firm (about 1 hour). Cut into bars.
