Bread in 10 minutes! No oven! This is the tastie

Posted on April 6, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a **quick, no‑oven bread recipe you can make in just about 10 minutes — soft, tasty, and cooked without baking!

🥖 10‑Minute No‑Oven Bread (Stovetop Flatbread)

🧾 Ingredients (makes 4 small breads)

  • 1 cup all‑purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¾ cup plain yogurt (or milk + 1 tsp lemon juice/vinegar)
  • 1–2 tbsp oil or melted butter

🔥 Cook on the Stovetop

  1. Mix the dry ingredients
In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Add yogurt
Stir in the yogurt until a soft dough forms. If too sticky, add a little more flour.
  3. Divide & shape
Divide the dough into 4 pieces. Roll each into a ball, then flatten into a small round (~1 cm thick).
  4. Heat the pan
Warm a non‑stick skillet or cast iron over medium heat; lightly oil it.
  5. Cook both sides
Place one flatbread in the pan. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and puffed.
  6. Serve warm
Brush with a bit of oil or butter for extra flavor.

🍽 Serving Ideas

  • With butter and honey
  • As a wrap with eggs or chicken
  • With dip, hummus, or tea

🧠 Tips for Best Results

✔ Don’t overheat the pan — golden, not burnt.
✔ Add herbs (parsley, garlic) for extra taste.
✔ Keep cooked bread warm in a towel while you finish the rest.

🥇 Why This Works

No yeast, no oven, and no rising time — baking soda/powder gives gentle lift so it cooks fast but stays soft. Simple ingredients, great texture, and ready in minutes!
