🥘 Asparagus Casserole

🧾 Ingredients

  • 500 g asparagus, trimmed and cut into pieces
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom (or chicken) soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

🔥 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Blanch asparagus in boiling water for 2–3 minutes, then drain (keeps it tender).
  3. In a pan, sauté onion and garlic until soft.

  5. Add asparagus and sautéed onion/garlic; mix gently.
  6. Pour into a greased baking dish.
