What foods inflame the thyroid?

Some foods may worsen thyroid inflammation, especially in people with thyroid disorders like Hashimoto’s thyroiditis or Graves’ disease. While not everyone reacts the same way, certain foods are commonly linked to increased inflammation or interference with thyroid function.

1. Highly Processed Foods

Examples: chips, packaged snacks, fast food.

2. Excess Sugar
