🫑 Stuffed Peppers (Easy & Flavorful)
Colorful bell peppers filled with a savory mixture—perfect for a balanced meal.
Ingredients (4 servings)
- 4 large bell peppers (any color)
- 400 g ground beef, turkey, or chicken
- ½ cup cooked rice
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika or Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven: 180°C / 350°F.
- Prepare peppers:
- Cut tops off peppers and remove seeds.
- Lightly oil a baking dish and place peppers upright.
- Make filling:
- Heat oil in a pan. Cook onion and garlic until soft.
- Add ground meat and cook until browned.
- Stir in rice, salt, pepper, seasoning, and half of the tomato sauce.
- Stuff peppers:
- Fill each pepper with the meat mixture.
- Spoon remaining tomato sauce on top.
- Bake:
- Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.
- Remove foil, add cheese if using, and bake 10–15 minutes more.
- Serve:
- Let cool slightly and enjoy.

- Swap rice for quinoa or couscous for variety.
- Make it vegetarian with beans, lentils, or chopped mushrooms.
