⚠️ Stroke — warning symptoms
A stroke happens when blood flow to the brain is blocked or a vessel bursts. Recognizing symptoms quickly can save a life.
🚨 Use the FAST rule
- F – Face drooping: One side of the face looks uneven or numb
- A – Arm weakness: One arm feels weak or drifts downward
- S – Speech difficulty: Slurred or hard to understand speech
- T – Time to act: Get emergency help immediately
⚠️ Other common symptoms
- Sudden numbness or weakness (face, arm, or leg—especially one side)
- Confusion or trouble understanding
- Trouble seeing in one or both eyes
- Dizziness, loss of balance or coordination
- Severe headache with no known cause
⏱️ Act FAST
- Stroke is a medical emergency
- Call emergency services immediately if any symptoms appear
- Do not wait to see if symptoms go away
