Instructions

  1. Mix the marinade
    • In a bowl or resealable bag, whisk together all the ingredients until well combined.
  2. Marinate the steak
    • Place the steak in the marinade, making sure it’s fully coated.
    • Cover (or seal the bag) and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, ideally 2–6 hours for maximum flavor.
    • Avoid marinating more than 24 hours; the acid can start “cooking” the meat and change the texture.
  3. Cook the steak
    • Remove steak from the marinade and let it come to room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
