Here’s a steak and shrimp pasta recipe that’s rich, savory, and easy to make 🍝🥩🍤

Steak & Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or linguine)
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced thin
  • ½ lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 3 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika or Cajun seasoning (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • ¼ cup pasta water (as needed)
  • Optional: parsley or red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water; reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.
  2. Season steak and shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Heat oil/butter in a large skillet over medium-high.
  4. Sear steak quickly (2–3 min per side); remove.
  5. Cook shrimp in same pan until pink (1–2 min per side); remove.
  6. Lower heat, add garlic; cook 30 seconds.
  7. Stir in cream and Parmesan; simmer until slightly thick.
  8. Add pasta and a little pasta water to loosen sauce.
  9. Return steak and shrimp; toss gently until coated.
  10. Garnish and serve.

Flavor Variations

  • Garlic butter (skip cream, add more butter & lemon)
  • Cajun style (use Cajun seasoning + bell peppers)
  • Alfredo (extra cream & Parmesan)
  • Scampi-inspired (garlic, butter, lemon)

Tips

  • Slice steak against the grain for tenderness
  • Don’t overcook shrimp
  • Finish with fresh herbs for balance
