Here’s a simple and delicious Sausage Muffins recipe 🥐🌭—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a snack.


Sausage Muffins

Ingredients (Makes 8 muffins)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried herbs (thyme or parsley, optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar works well)
  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled (pork or breakfast sausage)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 375°F (190°C).
    • Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. Mix dry ingredients
    • In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pepper, and herbs.
  3. Combine wet ingredients
    • In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and melted butter.
  4. Mix together
    • Add wet ingredients to dry and stir until just combined.
    • Fold in cooked sausage and shredded cheese.
  5. Fill muffin tin
    • Spoon mixture evenly into 8 muffin cups.
  6. Bake
    • Bake 20–25 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Serve
    • Let cool 5 minutes before serving. Delicious warm or at room temperature.

  • Vegetables: Add diced bell peppers or spinach.
  • Cheese options: Pepper jack, Swiss, or mozzarella for variety.
  • Make-ahead: Store in the fridge up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
