Sausage Muffins

Here’s a simple, tasty sausage muffin recipe 🧁
Great for breakfast or a quick snack.

Sausage Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar works great)
  • 2 cups Bisquick (or similar baking mix)
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • Salt & pepper (optional)

Steps

  1. Cook sausage: Brown the sausage in a pan, breaking it up. Drain excess grease.
  2. Mix batter: In a bowl, whisk eggs and milk. Stir in Bisquick.
  3. Combine: Add cooked sausage and shredded cheese. Mix gently.
  4. Fill muffin tin: Grease a muffin pan and fill each cup about ¾ full.
  5. Bake:
    • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes, until golden and set.
  6. Cool slightly and enjoy!

Variations

  • Spicy: Use hot sausage or add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Veggie: Add diced bell peppers, onions, or spinach.
  • Mini muffins: Bake 12–15 minutes.
  • Make-ahead: Freeze and reheat in the microwave.
