Praline Crunch

🍬 Praline Crunch (Sweet, Buttery & Crispy)

Praline crunch is a crunchy, caramelized nut treat—great as a snack, dessert topping, or gift.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup nuts (pecans, almonds, peanuts, or mixed nuts)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp water
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: ½ tsp vanilla or cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare pan:
    • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Make praline:
    • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, butter, water, and salt.
    • Stir until butter melts and mixture bubbles.
  3. Add nuts:
    • Stir in nuts and cook 2–3 minutes, coating them well.
  4. Spread & cool:
    • Pour mixture onto prepared tray.
    • Spread quickly (it hardens fast).
    • Let cool completely, then break into pieces.
  5. Serve:
    • Enjoy as-is or crumble over ice cream, yogurt, or cakes 🍨

Tips

  • Watch carefully—sugar can burn fast.
  • For extra crunch, bake at 180°C / 350°F for 8–10 minutes after spreading.
  • Store in an airtight container up to 1 week.
