Peanut butter balls

Here’s a classic Peanut Butter Balls recipe 🥜🍫
No-bake, easy, and perfect for holidays or anytime treats.


Ingredients (makes ~30 balls)

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or shortening (for smoother chocolate, optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix peanut butter filling
    • In a large bowl, beat peanut butter and butter until smooth.
    • Mix in powdered sugar and vanilla until a soft dough forms.
  2. Shape balls
    • Roll mixture into 1-inch balls.
    • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
    • Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  3. Melt chocolate
    • Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave (30-second intervals, stirring) or over a double boiler.
  4. Dip
    • Dip chilled peanut butter balls into melted chocolate using a fork.
    • Return to parchment paper.
  5. Set
    • Refrigerate until chocolate is firm (about 30 minutes).

Tips & Variations

  • Use crunchy peanut butter for texture.
  • Add Rice Krispies for crunch.
  • Drizzle white chocolate on top for decoration.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for longer storage.
