Ohhh yeah—peach cobbler energy 🍑✨
Warm, syrupy fruit + golden crust = undefeated.

Classic Southern Peach Cobbler

Ingredients (6–8 servings)

Filling

  • 5–6 cups sliced peaches (fresh, frozen, or canned* drained)
  • ¾ cup sugar (½ white + ¼ brown if you have it)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Cobbler Topping

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

How to Make It

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prep the peaches
Toss peaches with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
Spread evenly in a buttered baking dish (9×13 or similar).
  3. Make the batter
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Assemble (don’t stir!)
Pour batter over the peaches. Leave it alone—magic happens in the oven.
  5. Bake
40–45 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Rest & serve
Let cool 10–15 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Pro Tips & Variations

  • Extra syrupy: Add ¼ cup peach juice or water to the filling
  • Spiced up: Add ginger or cardamom
  • Biscuity top: Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top before baking
  • Crisp-style: Add oats + brown sugar to the topping

If you want grandma-style, dump cobbler, or slow-cooker peach cobbler, I’ve got you 😏
