🥞 Pancakes (Fluffy & Easy)

Here’s a simple recipe you can make in about 15 minutes:


Ingredients (makes ~8 pancakes)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp melted butter or oil
  • Optional: vanilla extract or cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter (plus vanilla if using).
  3. Combine: Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined (a few lumps are okay).
  4. Cook pancakes:
    • Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.
    • Pour ¼ cup batter per pancake.
    • Cook until bubbles form on top, then flip and cook 1–2 minutes more.
  5. Serve: With syrup, fruit, honey, or any topping you like 🍓🍯

Tips

  • For extra fluffy pancakes, separate the egg and beat the white until stiff peaks, then fold in.
  • You can add chocolate chips, blueberries, or mashed banana to the batter for fun variations.
