Orange Creamsicle Truffles

Posted on January 5, 2026 by Admin

Ah, Orange Creamsicle Truffles—sweet, creamy, and full of that classic orange-and-vanilla flavor! 🍊🍫 Here’s a simple way to make them at home:

Orange Creamsicle Truffles

Ingredients (makes about 20 truffles)

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups (about 240 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1–2 tsp orange juice (optional, for flavor)
  • 8 oz (225 g) white chocolate, melted (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Make the truffle filling
    • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and orange zest until smooth.
    • If desired, add a little orange juice to enhance the flavor.
  2. Form the truffles
    • Scoop small portions (about 1 tsp each) and roll into balls.
    • Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
    • Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  3. Coat the truffles
    • Melt white chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
    • Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
    • Place back on parchment paper.
  4. Chill & set
    • Refrigerate until the chocolate is firm (about 30 minutes).
  5. Serve
    • Enjoy creamy, citrusy truffles that taste like a frozen creamsicle!

💡 Tips:

  • You can drizzle extra melted chocolate over the truffles for decoration.
  • For a stronger orange flavor, use orange extract instead of juice.

I can also give a no-bake 5-minute version that uses crushed cookies or cake mix for the base if you want something super quick.

Do you want me to do that?
