Here’s a flavorful Hawaiian Bliss Roasted Chicken recipe—juicy chicken with a sweet and tangy tropical twist 🍍🍗


Hawaiian Bliss Roasted Chicken

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger (or ½ tsp ground ginger)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional garnish: pineapple chunks, green onions, sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with foil.
  2. Prepare marinade
    • In a bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and pepper.
  3. Marinate chicken
    • Place chicken in a large bowl or zip-top bag.
    • Pour half of the marinade over the chicken and let sit at least 30 minutes (or overnight for more flavor).
  4. Roast chicken
    • Place chicken in prepared baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and pour a little marinade over top.
    • Roast 35–45 minutes, basting occasionally with remaining marinade, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and skin is golden.
  5. Optional garnish & serve
    • Sprinkle with sesame seeds, chopped green onions, or pineapple chunks.
    • Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or a tropical salad.

Tips & Variations

  • Sweet & spicy: Add ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • Extra caramelized flavor: Broil for the last 3–5 minutes for crispier skin.
  • Slow cooker version: Cook marinated chicken on low 4–5 hours; reduce sauce on stove to thicken.
  • Tropical sides: Serve with coconut rice or grilled pineapple slices for full Hawaiian flair.
