Here’s a classic ham salad 🥗—creamy, savory, and perfect for sandwiches, crackers, or a quick snack.


Ham Salad

Ingredients (4–6 servings)

  • 2 cups cooked ham, finely chopped or ground
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (adjust for creaminess)
  • 1 small celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 2–3 green onions, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp mustard (Dijon or yellow)
  • 1 tsp sweet pickle relish or finely chopped pickles
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Optional: hard-boiled egg, chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients
    • In a bowl, combine ham, mayonnaise, celery, onions, mustard, and relish.
    • Stir until evenly mixed.
  2. Season
    • Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
    • If using, gently fold in chopped hard-boiled egg.
  3. Chill & serve
    • Refrigerate at least 30 minutes for flavors to meld.
    • Serve on bread, crackers, or lettuce cups.

Tips & Variations

  • Creamier: Add a little sour cream or Greek yogurt.
  • Tangier: Use a splash of pickle juice or Dijon mustard.
  • Extra crunch: Add diced bell pepper or shredded carrot.
  • Make-ahead: Keeps 3–4 days in the fridge.
