Grilled lamb & almonds shrimp roast potato & creole

Posted on January 26, 2026 by Admin

Ohhh wow 😍 that’s basically a full Cajun-meets-Mediterranean feast: grilled lamb, shrimp, roasted potatoes, and Creole flair. Let’s break it down so you can pull it off in style.

🥩 Grilled Lamb with Almonds

Ingredients

  • 1–1.5 lb lamb chops or leg slices
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp rosemary (fresh or dried)
  • Salt & pepper
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds, toasted

Instructions

  1. Marinate lamb with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper for 30–60 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high. Grill lamb 3–5 min per side (depending on thickness) for medium-rare.
  3. Toast almonds in a dry skillet until golden. Sprinkle over lamb just before serving.

🍤 Shrimp (Creole-Style)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne (optional, adjust heat)
  • 1 tsp Creole seasoning or salt + black pepper + thyme + oregano
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat butter/oil in a skillet over medium-high.
  2. Add garlic and shrimp; season with spices.
  3. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and just cooked.
  4. Finish with a squeeze of lemon.

🥔 Roasted Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb small potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper
  • Optional: fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, parsley)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F / 220°C.
  2. Toss potatoes with oil, spices, and herbs.
  3. Roast 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

🍅 Creole Sauce (Optional, for shrimp/lamb)

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Sauté onion, pepper, and garlic until soft.
  2. Add tomatoes and spices, simmer 10–15 min.
  3. Serve over shrimp, lamb, or roasted potatoes.

🍽️ Plating Idea

  • Roast potatoes as base
  • Lay grilled lamb chops on top
  • Arrange shrimp alongside
  • Drizzle Creole sauce and sprinkle almonds & fresh herbs

This gives you a restaurant-quality plate with bold Cajun flavors and elegant Mediterranean notes.

I can also make a timing map so everything finishes hot together without stressing—you’d basically have a 45–50 min total cook. Do you want me to do that?
