Here’s a luxurious Garlic Butter Lobster & Scallops recipe 🦞🦪🧄
Ingredients (serves ~2–3)
- 1 lb lobster tails (or lobster meat, split)
- 8–10 large sea scallops
- 3–4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prep seafood
Pat lobster tails and scallops dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper. - Cook lobster
- In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat.
- Add lobster tails, shell side down, cook 4–5 minutes per side until opaque. Remove and set aside.
- Cook scallops
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium-high heat.
- Add scallops and sear 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Make garlic butter sauce
- In the skillet, melt remaining butter and add garlic. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice and stir.
- Combine & serve
Return lobster and scallops to the skillet, toss in garlic butter briefly.
Garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
Tips
- Pat seafood dry to ensure a good sear.
- Don’t overcook scallops—they become rubbery quickly.
- Serve with rice, pasta, or roasted vegetables to soak up the garlic butter.
