Garlic bread

Ahhh garlic bread 🤌 crispy edges, soft center, pure comfort. Here’s a classic, foolproof garlic bread you can make in minutes.


Classic Garlic Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf French bread or baguette
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick / 115 g) butter, softened
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1½ tsp garlic powder)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: grated Parmesan or mozzarella

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Make garlic butter
    Mix butter, garlic, parsley, and salt until well combined.
  3. Prepare the bread
    Slice bread in half lengthwise. Spread garlic butter evenly over both halves.
  4. Bake
    Place bread cut-side up on a baking sheet.
    Bake 10–12 minutes until butter is melted and bread is warm.
  5. Crispy finish (optional but amazing)
    Broil for 1–2 minutes until golden and slightly crispy—watch closely!
  6. Serve hot
    Slice and enjoy immediately.

🔥 Variations

  • Cheesy garlic bread: Add mozzarella + Parmesan before baking
  • Herb garlic bread: Add oregano, basil, or Italian seasoning
  • Extra garlicky: Roast the garlic first for deeper flavor
  • Air fryer: 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes

Perfect with pasta, soup, salads… or honestly, just on its own 😄
