Dipping oil

🫒 Dipping Oil (Simple & Flavorful)

A quick and tasty oil perfect for dipping bread, vegetables, or even drizzling over grilled dishes.


Ingredients (for 1 small bowl)

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried herbs (oregano, thyme, or rosemary)
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Optional: splash of balsamic vinegar or lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients:
    • Combine olive oil, garlic, herbs, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
  2. Add flavor (optional):
    • Stir in a splash of balsamic vinegar or lemon juice for extra zing.
  3. Serve:
    • Pour into a shallow dish for dipping bread or drizzle over roasted vegetables.

Tips

  • Use high-quality olive oil for the best flavor.
  • Let the oil sit 10–15 minutes for flavors to meld.
  • Experiment with herbs like basil, parsley, or chives.
  • For a spicy kick, add smoked paprika or chili powder.
