🐔 Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs (boneless or bone-in)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • Optional: 1–2 tbsp olive oil or butter for extra flavor

🍲 Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken
    Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. Optional: sear in a pan for 2–3 minutes per side for extra flavor.
  2. Add ingredients to Crock Pot
    Place chicken, chopped onion, and garlic in the slow cooker. Pour chicken broth over the top. Sprinkle with thyme or Italian seasoning.
  3. Cook low and slow
    • Low: 6–7 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
      The chicken should be tender and easy to shred with a fork.
  4. Optional: Thicken the sauce
    Remove chicken and whisk 1–2 tsp cornstarch into the liquid. Cook on high for 10 minutes to thicken.
