Crispy chicken strips

🍗 Crispy Chicken Strips (Crunchy & Juicy)

Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or meal—crispy on the outside, tender inside.


Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 500 g (1 lb) chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1–2 cups breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare chicken:
    • Pat chicken strips dry. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Set up dredging stations:
    • Bowl 1: flour
    • Bowl 2: beaten eggs
    • Bowl 3: breadcrumbs
  3. Coat chicken:
    • Dredge each strip in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Fry chicken:
    • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Fry strips 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
    • Drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve hot with ketchup, honey mustard, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips

  • For extra crunch, double-coat: flour → egg → breadcrumbs → egg → breadcrumbs.
  • Can also bake at 200°C / 400°F for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, for a healthier version.
  • Add garlic powder, cayenne, or Parmesan to breadcrumbs for more flavor.
