Creamy fried bombs

Posted on January 4, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a Creamy Fried Bombs recipe 🧀🔥—crispy on the outside, creamy and melty on the inside. These are great as snacks or party food.

Creamy Fried Bombs

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or pepper jack)
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or crescent dough)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
  • Optional flavor add-ins:
    • Cooked bacon bits
    • Jalapeños
    • Garlic powder or ranch seasoning

For frying

  • Oil (vegetable or canola)

Instructions

  1. Make filling:
Mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, and any add-ins until smooth.
  2. Prepare dough:
Separate biscuit dough and flatten each piece into a small circle.
  3. Fill & seal:
Spoon about 1 tablespoon filling into the center of each dough round.
Fold dough around filling and pinch tightly to seal into a ball.
  4. Coat:
Roll each ball in beaten egg, then in breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry:
    Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
Fry bombs in batches for 2–3 minutes, turning, until golden brown.
  6. Drain & serve:
Place on paper towels and let cool slightly before eating (inside is hot!).

Tips & Variations

  • Air fryer: Spray lightly with oil and cook at 375°F for 8–10 minutes.
  • Pizza bombs: Add pepperoni and use mozzarella + marinara for dipping.
  • Sweet version: Use sweetened cream cheese and dust with powdered sugar.
  • Extra crispy: Double-coat with egg and breadcrumbs.

If you want, I can give a baked-only version, a jalapeño popper style, or a sweet dessert bomb version.
