For the cake

- 1 cup fresh or dried cranberries
For the cream cheese layer
- 200 g cream cheese
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp vanilla extract

- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- Add milk and dry ingredients, mix until smooth.
- Fold in cranberries.
- In another bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Layer the batter in the pan:
- Half cake batter
- Cream cheese mixture
- Remaining batter
- Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
