Ah, Cinnamon Rolls 🍩—soft, sweet, gooey, and perfect for breakfast or dessert. Here’s a classic, fluffy, and easy-to-follow recipe:

Classic Cinnamon Rolls

Servings: 8–12
Prep time: 30–40 min (plus rising)
Cook time: 20–25 min

Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 2ÂĽ tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F / 43°C)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • â…“ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour

For the filling:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

For the icing:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough
    • In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
    • Stir in sugar, melted butter, salt, and eggs.
    • Gradually add flour until dough comes together.
  2. Knead & rise
    • Knead dough on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
    • Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1–1.5 hours until doubled.
  3. Prepare the filling
    • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
    • Spread softened butter over rolled-out dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly.
  4. Roll & cut
    • Roll dough into a rectangle (~16×12 inches).
    • Starting from the long side, roll tightly into a log.
    • Cut into 12 equal slices and place in a greased baking pan.
  5. Second rise
    • Cover and let rolls rise 30–40 minutes until puffy.
  6. Bake
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Glaze
    • Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make icing.
    • Drizzle over warm cinnamon rolls.

🔥 Tips

  • Warm milk is key to activate yeast—too hot will kill it.
  • For extra gooey rolls, brush extra butter and sugar on top before baking.
  • Can add raisins, nuts, or cream cheese frosting for a twist.
  • Rolls are best served warm but store in an airtight container for 2–3 days.

I can also give you a super-soft overnight cinnamon roll recipe where you prepare the dough the night before for fluffy rolls in the morning.
