Here’s a simple, crispy Chicken Tenders recipe that works every time 🍗


Chicken Tenders

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders (or chicken breast cut into strips)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Breading

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1½ cups breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder

For Cooking

  • Oil for frying or cooking spray for baking/air frying

Instructions

Fry (Extra Crispy)

  1. Season chicken with salt & pepper.
  2. Dredge in flour → egg + milk → breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

Bake (Healthier)

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Bread chicken and place on greased rack or pan.
  3. Spray lightly with oil.
  4. Bake 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway.

Air Fryer

  1. Preheat to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook tenders in single layer.
  3. Air fry 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.

Tips

  • Use panko for extra crunch.
  • Don’t overcook—internal temp should be 165°F (74°C).
  • Season breadcrumbs for more flavor.

  • Honey mustard
  • Ranch
  • BBQ
  • Buffalo sauce
