Chicken Marsala 🍗🍄
Chicken Marsala is a classic Italian-American dish with tender chicken in a rich mushroom and wine sauce made with Marsala wine.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- Salt and black pepper
- ½ cup flour (for coating)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup sliced Mushroom

- ¾ cup Marsala wine
- ½ cup chicken broth
- Optional: ¼ cup cream

Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the chicken
- Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally to make thin cutlets.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Lightly coat in flour.
2️⃣ Sear the chicken
- Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
- Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Cook the mushrooms
- In the same pan add remaining butter.
- Add mushrooms and cook 5 minutes until browned.
- Stir in garlic.
4️⃣ Make the sauce
- Pour in Marsala wine and chicken broth.
- Simmer 4–5 minutes to reduce.
5️⃣ Finish
- Return chicken to the pan.
- Cook 3–4 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Add cream if you want a richer sauce.
