Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (or crushed digestive biscuits)
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) sugar
  • 1/3 cup (75 g) melted butter

Filling:

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped

Topping:

  • 1 can (21 oz / 595 g) cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust
    • Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
    • Press firmly into the bottom of a 9Ă—13-inch dish. Chill in the fridge while preparing the filling.
  2. Make the cream layer
    • Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
    • Gently fold in whipped cream until fluffy.
  3. Assemble the dessert
    • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
    • Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the cream layer.
  4. Chill
    • Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours (or overnight) to set.
  5. Serve
    • Cut into squares and serve cold. Optional: garnish with extra whipped cream or chocolate shavings.
