Ohhh Cherry Delight 🍒—that classic no-bake dessert that tastes like pure nostalgia. Creamy, crunchy, sweet, and tangy. Here’s the traditional version everyone loves.


Cherry Delight (No-Bake Dessert)

Ingredients:

Crust:

  • 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup melted butter

Cream layer:

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip) or whipped cream

Topping:

  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

Instructions:

  1. Make the crust
    • Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter.
    • Press firmly into the bottom of an 8×8-inch dish.
    • Chill 15–20 minutes.
  2. Cream layer
    • Beat cream cheese until smooth.
    • Add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy.
    • Fold in whipped topping gently.
  3. Assemble
    • Spread cream mixture evenly over crust.
    • Spoon cherry pie filling over the top.
  4. Chill
    • Refrigerate at least 2–3 hours (overnight is best).
  5. Serve
    • Slice and enjoy cold.

  • Use shortbread cookies or vanilla wafers for the crust
  • Add a thin chocolate layer between crust and cream for a twist
