Cherry Delight

Here’s a classic Cherry Delight 🍒🍰 — creamy, no-bake, and always a crowd favorite.

Cherry Delight (No-Bake Dessert)

Ingredients (9×13-inch pan)

Crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup melted butter

Cream Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed

Topping

  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Make crust:
Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan. Chill 15–20 minutes.
  2. Make cream layer:
Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread evenly over crust.
  3. Add cherries:
Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the cream layer.
  4. Chill:
Refrigerate at least 2–4 hours (overnight is best) until set.
  5. Serve:
    Slice and enjoy cold.

⭐ Tips:

  • Let cream cheese soften fully for a smooth layer.
  • Chill well so slices hold their shape.
  • Works with blueberry, strawberry, or peach pie filling too.

🔄 Variations:

  • Chocolate crust: Use chocolate graham crackers or Oreo crumbs.
  • Lighter version: Use reduced-fat cream cheese and whipped topping.
  • Individual cups: Layer in dessert glasses for parties.

If you’d like, I can also give you a baked Cherry Delight or a retro 1950s version just like church potlucks used to have.
