Here are a few easy and tasty ways to cook cauliflower, depending on what you’re in the mood for. Cauliflower is super versatile and takes on flavor really well.


Roasted Cauliflower (Most Popular)

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Toss cauliflower with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any seasonings.
  3. Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and tender.
  5. Optional: sprinkle Parmesan during the last 5 minutes.

Garlic Sautéed Cauliflower (Quick)

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add cauliflower and cook 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  4. Season and serve.

Mashed Cauliflower (Low-Carb Alternative)

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2–3 tbsp cream or milk
  • Salt, pepper

Instructions

  1. Steam cauliflower until very tender (about 10 minutes).
  2. Drain well and blend or mash with butter and cream.
  3. Season to taste.

Cauliflower Cheese (Comfort Food)

  • Make a simple cheese sauce (butter, flour, milk, cheddar).
  • Pour over steamed cauliflower.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until bubbly.

Flavor ideas: buffalo-style, curry-spiced, lemon & herb, or crispy with breadcrumbs.
