Here’s a classic bologna sandwich—simple, nostalgic, and exactly how it’s meant to be. 🥪


Classic Bologna Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 slices white bread (or soft wheat)
  • 3–4 slices bologna
  • 1 slice American cheese
  • Yellow mustard
  • Mayonnaise (optional)

Assembly

  1. Spread mustard on one slice of bread (mayo on the other if using).
  2. Fold bologna slices once or twice for texture.
  3. Add American cheese.
  4. Close sandwich, slice diagonally if desired.

  1. Heat a skillet over medium.
  2. Cut an “X” in the center of each bologna slice (prevents curling).
  3. Fry bologna 1–2 minutes per side until browned.
