Ingredients

Instructions

1. Make the biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C / 425°F
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt
  3. Cut in cold butter until crumbly
  4. Stir in milk just until combined
  5. Drop or roll biscuits onto a baking sheet
  6. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden

2. Make the gravy

  1. Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat (don’t drain fat)
  2. Sprinkle flour over sausage, stir, cook 1 minute
  3. Slowly pour in milk, stirring constantly
  4. Simmer until thick and creamy (5–8 minutes)
  5. Season generously with black pepper and salt

3. Serve

  • Split hot biscuits
  • Ladle sausage gravy over the top
  • Eat immediately 😌
