Baked baby back beef ribs

Posted on January 26, 2026 by Admin

Ohhh yes 😍 tender, sticky baked baby back beef ribs coming right up. Low effort, big payoff.

🍖 Baked Baby Back Beef Ribs (Fall-Apart Tender)

Ingredients

  • 2–3 lbs baby back beef ribs
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder (optional)
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar (optional, for sticky vibes)
  • 1–2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F / 150°C (low and slow is the secret).
  2. Prep ribs: Remove the membrane on the bone side if it’s still on. Pat dry.
  3. Season generously with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, onion, and chili powder.
  4. Place ribs bone-side down on a foil-lined baking sheet.
  5. Seal tightly with foil (very important—steam = tenderness).
  6. Bake for 2½–3 hours until meat is tender and pulling from the bones.
  7. Sauce time: Uncover, brush with BBQ sauce mixed with honey and vinegar.
  8. Caramelize: Increase oven to 425°F / 220°C and bake uncovered 10–15 minutes, or broil 3–5 minutes until sticky and charred (watch closely!).

🔥 Pro tips

  • If you want smoky flavor, add ½ tsp liquid smoke to the sauce
  • Rest 10 minutes before cutting so juices stay put
  • Finish on the grill if you want extra char

🍽️ Perfect sides

Mac & cheese, coleslaw, cornbread, or roasted potatoes.
