  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. Mix dry ingredients
    Flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  3. Mix wet ingredients
    Whisk eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla, and melted butter in another bowl.
  4. Combine
    Fold wet ingredients into dry until just combined. Gently fold in chopped apples.
  5. Fill pan
    Spoon batter into muffin cups about ¾ full.
  6. Bake
    18–22 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Glaze
    Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm fritters.
