Air fryer bread

Here’s an easy air-fryer bread you can make at home 🍞
(No oven, no fancy tools.)


Quick Air Fryer Bread (No Yeast)

Time: ~20 minutes
Texture: Soft inside, lightly crisp outside

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup plain yogurt or milk
  • 1 tbsp oil or melted butter

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Add yogurt/milk and oil; mix into a soft dough.
  3. Shape into a small round loaf or 2–3 flat breads.
  4. Line air fryer basket with parchment paper.
  5. Air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing.

Yeast Air Fryer Bread (More traditional)

Time: ~1 hour total

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp dry yeast
  • 2½ cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Bloom yeast with warm water + sugar (5 min).
  2. Mix with flour, salt, oil. Knead 5–7 min.
  3. Let rise 30–40 min until doubled.
  4. Shape loaf or rolls.
  5. Air fry 330°F (165°C) for 15–18 min, flip halfway.

Tips for Success

  • Keep loaves small—air fryers cook fast.
  • Cover loosely with foil if browning too fast.
  • Brush with butter after cooking for softer crust.
