Posted on January 23, 2026 by Admin

Ohhh yes — Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken & Linguine in Alfredo Sauce is peak comfort pasta 🍝🧄🧈. Rich, silky, and full of flavor. Here’s a restaurant-worthy version you can make at home.

🍝 Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken & Linguine Alfredo

Ingredients (serves 4)

Chicken

  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced thin
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

Pasta

  • 12 oz (340 g) linguine

Garlic Butter Alfredo Sauce

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5–6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups (360 ml) heavy cream
  • ¾–1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional but amazing)
  • Optional: red pepper flakes or Italian seasoning

Garnish (optional)

  • Fresh parsley
  • Extra Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta
Boil linguine in well-salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Cook chicken
    • Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
    • Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
    • Remove and set aside.
  3. Make garlic butter sauce
    • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Add garlic and sauté 30–60 seconds until fragrant (don’t brown).
    • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add cheese
    • Reduce heat to low. Stir in Parmesan gradually until smooth.
    • Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
    • If sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
  5. Combine everything
    • Add cooked linguine to the sauce and toss to coat.
    • Slice chicken and return it to the pan.
    • Gently mix until everything is creamy and heated through.
  6. Serve
Garnish with parsley, extra Parmesan, and red pepper flakes if desired.

Pro Tips

  • Ultra-creamy sauce: Use freshly grated Parmesan — pre-shredded doesn’t melt as smoothly.
  • Garlic lovers: Add roasted garlic or an extra clove for deeper flavor.
  • Protein swap: Works beautifully with shrimp or salmon.
  • Add-ins: Spinach, mushrooms, or broccoli fit right in.
