Here’s a bold, restaurant-style recipe for Garlic Butter Shrimp & Steak Bites with Veggie Potatoes—rich, savory, and perfect for a hearty dinner 🧄🦐🥩🥔

Garlic Butter Shrimp & Steak Bites with Veggie Potatoes

Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

Steak & shrimp:

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-size pieces
  • ½ lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Garlic butter sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Optional: red pepper flakes
  • Optional: squeeze of lemon juice

Veggie potatoes:

  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, zucchini, green beans)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, and paprika

Instructions

1. Cook the veggie potatoes

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  • Toss potatoes and vegetables with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Spread on a baking sheet and roast 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and tender.

2. Cook the steak bites

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  • Season steak with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  • Sear steak bites 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
  • Remove from skillet and set aside.

3. Cook the shrimp

  • In the same skillet, add shrimp.
  • Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink.
  • Remove and set aside with steak.

4. Make garlic butter sauce

  • Lower heat to medium.
  • Add butter and garlic to skillet.
  • Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice.

5. Combine

  • Return steak and shrimp to the skillet.
  • Toss gently in garlic butter sauce for 1–2 minutes.

6. Serve

  • Plate steak & shrimp alongside veggie potatoes.
  • Spoon extra garlic butter over everything.

Tips for Best Results

  • Use a hot skillet for steak—this gives a perfect sear.
  • Do not overcook shrimp—they turn rubbery fast.
  • Add a pat of butter at the end for extra richness.

Variations

  • Cajun-style: add Cajun seasoning
  • Surf & turf pasta: toss with cooked pasta
  • Keto-friendly: swap potatoes for roasted cauliflower

If you want, I can turn this into a one-pan skillet version, meal-prep bowls, or a garlic parmesan twist.
