1. Make the batter

  2. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Gradually mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
  4. Fold in diced apples.

2. Fry the fritters

  1. Heat oil in a skillet or deep pan over medium heat (about 350°F / 175°C).
  2. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil.
  3. Fry 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  4. Drain on paper towels.

3. Glaze (optional)

  • Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Drizzle over warm fritters or dip each fritter into the glaze. Let set 5–10 minutes.
