Here’s a Creamy Cajun Corn recipe 🌽🔥
Ingredients (serves ~3–4)
- 4 cups corn kernels (fresh, frozen, or canned)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter version)
- ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook corn
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant. - Add corn
Stir in corn and cook 4–5 minutes until heated through. - Make creamy sauce
Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and Cajun seasoning. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. - Season & serve
Taste and adjust salt, pepper, or Cajun spice. Garnish with green onions or parsley if desired. Serve warm.
Tips
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne or smoked paprika.
- Can mix in diced red bell pepper for extra color and sweetness.
- Use fresh corn in summer for best flavor.
I can also give a baked version with cheese topping or a skillet version with bacon.
