Here’s a simple, juicy pork chop recipe 🥩

Ingredients (serves 1–2)

  • 1–2 pork chops (bone-in or boneless, ¾–1 inch thick)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or herbs (rosemary, thyme)

Instructions

  1. Prep pork chop
    Pat dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
  2. Cook
    • Skillet method:
      Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
      Cook pork chops 4–5 minutes per side (for 1-inch thick) until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
    • Oven method (for thicker chops):
      Sear 2–3 minutes per side in a skillet, then transfer to a 400°F (205°C) oven for 8–10 minutes.
  3. Rest
    Let pork chops rest 3–5 minutes before serving to keep them juicy.

Tips

  • Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness.
  • Marinate or brine chops for extra flavor.
  • Pair with potatoes, veggies, or applesauce for a classic meal.
