Here’s the classic Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup 🥬🥣 — light, filling, and packed with vegetables. It’s popular for short detox-style resets or when you want something low-calorie and comforting.

🥬 Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Ingredients (serves 6–8)

  • 1 medium head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 green bell peppers, chopped
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 can (14.5 oz / 410 g) diced tomatoes
  • 6 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp olive oil (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Optional flavor boosters

  • ½ tsp chili flakes or cayenne
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Sauté aromatics (optional but recommended)
    • Heat olive oil in a large pot.
    • Sauté onion, garlic, celery, and carrots for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Add vegetables & broth
    • Add cabbage, bell peppers, diced tomatoes, and broth.
  3. Simmer
    • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 25–35 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Season
    • Add salt, pepper, and optional spices to taste.
  5. Serve
    • Eat hot. Store leftovers in the fridge up to 5 days or freeze.
