Here’s a classic, crowd-pleasing Broccoli Salad—crisp, creamy, and easy to customize 🥦


Broccoli Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets (small bite-size pieces)
  • ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds or sliced almonds
  • ½ cup dried cranberries or raisins

Dressing

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1½ tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar or honey
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, bacon, cheese, onion, seeds, and cranberries.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk mayo, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour dressing over salad and toss until well coated.
  4. Chill at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Tips & Variations

  • For lighter dressing: use half mayo, half Greek yogurt.
  • Add crunch with chopped apples or bell peppers.
  • Make it vegan: skip bacon & cheese, use vegan mayo and maple syrup.
